Newtown Primary School is recognised by the wider community as a place where children learn well in a happy, secure environment.

We are a forward thinking school which is known as a Centre of Excellence and Innovation in Teaching and Learning. Literally hundreds of teachers from Geelong, Melbourne and inter-state have worked with us to improve their classroom technique and achieve higher outcomes for pupils.

I am very proud of the school which our students, parents and teachers have created together. It is one where pupils are very thoroughly prepared for a "future that we can't describe yet."
